The Eagle Scout rank is the highest honor awarded to a scout in the program, and requires hours of service and months of leadership experience, completion of required merit badges, and culminates in a Scout-led leadership project that gives back to the community and leaves a lasting impact. Eagle scout often carries heavy weight on a resume due to the amount of leadership and maturity required to earn it, and the coveted rank is only achieved by about one in every hundred scouts!
